The latest issue of Dark Matter: Women Witnessing is Making Kin: A Retrospective. For this issue the editors launched a unique process of gathering all eight featured writers (myself included) into a conversation about the writing and topic of making kin:

Making Room for World: Fiction as Wayshower” appears as part of the “Writing to Re-see the World” discussion with my fellow Toronto-based fiction writers Catherine Bush, Kyo Maclear and Alissa York in Issue 5 of Dark Matter: Women Witnessing.

My reflection on Sharing The Fire, the first Dark Mountain-themed gathering in Canada (which I co-organized in August 2015), has been published on the Dark Mountain Project’s blog here:

My essay “Our Call to Indigenous Consciousness: Taiaiake Alfred’s Wasáse” has appeared in Dark Matter: Women WitnessingIssue 3.

On a different note, a feature on my teaching of creative nonfiction, along with samples of my students’ writing, has appeared in the inaugural issue of Innis College Alumni & Friends Magazine.
